Founder of Ibett Nails and a long-term collaborator of Karol G, the nail technician has established herself as one of the leaders in her industry.
Ibett, of Cuban origins, is the creative mind behind some of Karol G's most striking nail art, from original 3D creations to minimalist designs.

Born in Artemisa, Cuba, Ibett arrived in Miami in 2014 with the desire to accomplish her dreams and make a living for herself. She intended to study radiology, and wound up discovering a love for nail art as a way to support herself financially, pursuing the hobby on the side as she continued her studies.
After entering the world of nail art, a stylist recommended her to Karol G while the singer was on tour in Miami. From that day on, the two have worked together, forming a partnership that is still ongoing to this day. "We clicked immediately... and since then, we haven't stopped working together. Our connection is authentic, professional, and creative."
© @ibett.nailsKarol G, whose real name is Carolina Giraldo, doesn't just get her manicures done with Ibett — their partnership has an even wider reach. Ibett and Karol G work together on looks, proposing different ideas, textures, and the emotions that they want the manicure to evoke. "More than following trends, I think Carolina wants each manicure to be an extension of her emotional state and her growth as a woman," said Ibett.
One of the most memorable designs Ibett created for Karol was the one she wore at Coachella in 2022. "We used about 1,000 Swarovski crystals to create a design that paid tribute to the Colombian flag. It was a beautiful madness that took nearly seven hours of work."
In addition to collaborating with Karol G, Ibett has worked with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Rauw Alejandro, influencer Papi Kunno, and TV host Clarissa Molina for events, photoshoots, performances, and more.
