Dolores Fonzi's acting performances have made her a favorite among the public for many of her characters. The Argentine-born actress has portrayed a villain in "Summer of 98" and a young woman with mental problems in "El Sordeo de Mi Vida." Her family has an artistic streak, with her brother Tomás also being an actor.

Dolores Fonzi's career includes appearances in series and films such as Vidas Privadas, El Fondo del Mar, and El Aura. In 2011, she won the Cóndor de Plata Award for Best Actress for her role in El Campo. Her production, "Soy Tu Fan," which premiered in 2006, had a significant impact. It told the story of a young woman trying to get over a love while dealing with complicated situations involving her close social circle and family members. The production was adapted in Mexico in 2010, with Fonzi making a cameo. A sequel ten years later would unite both stories.

Dolores Fonzi's career has seen success on the big screen and television. In 2023, she wrote, starred in, and directed her first film, "Blondi," which was nominated at the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival. Aside from her work in the entertainment industry, Dolores Fonzi also focuses on motherhood.

"The word cancer is so stigmatized that you get lost in a nebula of poorly told experiences. Surround yourself with people who love you. Support people who suffer from it," she said about her health scare.

In 2009, she had her first child, Lázaro, with Mexican actor Gael García, her partner in "Vidas Privadas." In 2011, the couple welcomed their second child, a girl named Libertad. "As a mother, I'm cool, I try to be as Blondi as possible, but I'm more controlling than her (laughs) and I also take care of my personal development more, it's what I'm most curious about," she said.

In 2019, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, but after a mastectomy, she was cancer-free. "I'm telling this because I know I can help, but I also understand more than ever that one speaks when one can, not when one is expected to speak," she expressed in a post on her social media. "The word cancer is so stigmatized that you get lost in a nebula of poorly told experiences. Surround yourself with people who love you. Support people who suffer from it."

With her work, Fonzi seeks to create social awareness from a critical point of view with comedy, as in her recent film, Blondi, in which she also gives voice to women, especially single mothers. Her talent is recognized by critics, making her worthy of awards such as Best Actress at the Malaga Film Festival, the Cóndor de Plata Awards, the Sur Awards, the Konex Awards, the Biarritz Amérique Latine Cinémas & Cultures Festival, SANFIC, the Santiago Film Festival, and the Platino Awards for Ibero-American Cinema.
