Kate Middleton opted for a casual-chic ensemble on Tuesday as she attended her first official royal engagement of 2019. The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the community garden in London looking stylish and winter-ready in a fabulous Dubarry Bracken tweed jacket. The 37-year-old royal appeared beautifully radiant while wearing the iconic Chanel- favored fabric paired with dark brown skinny trousers from Zara and a cozy maroon knit underneath. Furthermore, Kate took an unexpected route and added a casual touch to her polished look with a pair of Penelope Chilvers lug sole lace-up boots.

Even though the mom-of-three got dressed for an outdoors event, she didn’t leave her style behind when she stepped out in tweed. There’s something extra appealing about the cozy yet elegant textile, and other royals seem to agree. Scroll through to see how more royals have rocked the chic textured trend.

Crown Princess Mary

Crown Princess Mary scored major style points with this sneakers-dress look. The Danish royal showed off a very of-the-moment approach when she combined an off-white tweed dress with a pair of Nike’s. Princess Mary wears the trend quite well as she keeps the look casually glam with a statement broach and shiny jewelry.

Meghan Markle

Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle visited Reprezent wearing a beige tweed coat from Smythe (one of Kate’s favorite brands) layered over black trousers and a high-neck top. The mom-to-be brought forth elegance with her signature chiffon ‘do and added a hint of warmth with a cream-colored fringe scarf that seamlessly matched her coat.
