After months of performing on stages around the world, Olivia Rodrigo is enjoying some well-earned downtime, and she’s bringing fans along for the ride.
On Monday, the 22-year-old pop sensation took to Instagram to share a candid look at her recent travels and quality moments spent with friends. The post, a carousel of photos, came with a sweet and simple caption: “love & wishes."
The carousel began with a blurry selfie of herself and a friend enjoying cocktails. Dressed in a polka dot halter top and rocking a bold red lip, she set a laid-back tone for the post, which then shifted through photos of nature walks by a lake, games of cards over drinks in a cozy bar, and what looked to be a stroll through a London street, where she wore a cream corset top by GUIZIO featuring flutter sleeves and low-rise jeans, both romantic and Y2K-inspired.
Among the standout images was a mirror selfie posing in a tiered red lace dress, complete with a black lace neckline, giving off a playful, emoji-like vibe that caught the eye of fans.
The corset-style bodice, featuring delicate black lace trim and intricate floral embroidery, created a bold silhouette, while the structured top flowed seamlessly into a tiered, ruffled skirt with soft pleating, adding texture and movement to the look.
She completed the dramatic ensemble with loose waves and a bold red lip. Rodrigo’s comment section quickly lit up with speculation, with many suggesting that her third studio album might be on the horizon, and that the post’s caption might be more than just poetic.
“I feel OR3 on the horizon….” one follower wrote. Another chimed in, “So this is what OR3 gonna look like.” A third commenter enthusiastically pointed out, “OR3 IS CALLED LOVE. LOVE IS 3 LETTERS AND ITS ON THE 3RD SLIDE.”
These teasers arrive not long after Rodrigo closed the chapter on her GUTS World Tour, which wrapped up in early August following a whirlwind of high-energy performances and festival appearances, including a headlining set at Glastonbury on June 29.
The Glastonbury performance held personal significance as well. Watching from the side of the stage was Rodrigo’s boyfriend, actor Louis Partridge, who opened up recently in an interview with Esquire UK.
Speaking about the high-profile nature of their relationship, Partridge admitted the public attention took him by surprise, especially during their appearance at Wimbledon on July 2, where the couple was spotted in the Royal Box sharing a kiss.
“I was not aware that was going to be a thing,” he said. “I did see a lot of photos from that, [and] it felt quite public." "Olivia and I choose, or have been choosing, to not be so public," Partridge added. "Obviously, it has been quite a big summer for her with Glastonbury, but there’s a sanctity to being private.”
