Selena Gomez took style cues from the swinging ’60s during a recent date night with her fiancé, record producer Benny Blanco. The 33-year-old star stepped out in knee-length, dark-wash denim capri pants, a chic black-and-white cardigan set, and black kitten heels as the couple enjoyed dinner at Eataly in Los Angeles.
The actress and beauty founder donned the capri summer trend, except with the polka dots. Her black-and-white piped ensemble from La Ligne x Dianna Agron included a cropped cardigan, coordinating top, and denim-inspired capri pants, paired with Jil Sander patent kitten-heel slingbacks. She completed her look with her hair pulled back into a sleek, classic bun and silver sculptural earrings.
Meanwhile, Benny Blanco, who proposed to Selena in December 2024, opted for a laid-back vibe in a light grey tee with a tear on the left shoulder, patchwork denim jeans in varying shades of blue, and white Birkenstock clogs. Adding a playful touch, he wore a Rare Beauty, Gomez’s cosmetics brand, embroidered apron with a noticeable red-orange stain, suggesting the pair may have attended a cooking class at Eataly.
Back on June 21st, Hailey Bieber also revived the polka dot capri trend while walking in New York City. The 28-year-old model wore a black Agolde Ester ruched top with black-and-white polka dot capri-length leggings from Paloma Wool, black TOTEME leather heeled flip flops, black Otra Kenny sunglasses, a MÉGA 14k gold vermeil cuff, and carried a black TOTEME belted leather bucket bag.
Elsewhere, Selena, who hosted HBO’s Selena + Chef, shared in March 2024 that she loves spending time in Benny’s kitchen. “One of my fav places to be is in… his kitchen,” she wrote on Instagram Stories, alongside a video of his counters.
That same month, Benny, author of Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends, revealed her go-to dishes: “She’s a huge steak fan. So anything that has steak in it. Or, yesterday, I just brought her; it’s not in my book, but I brought her. She loves soup. So she was shooting a show yesterday, so I made a little soup and I brought it over to her.”
