Jenna Ortega wears see-through latex gown and gothic glam for 'Wednesday' season 2 premiere

Jenna Ortega made a stylish return to the purple carpet at the 'Wednesday' season two premiere in London on July 30. Held at the historic Central Hall Westminster, the event drew an ensemble of stars, both old and new, to celebrate the return of Netflix’s record-breaking Addams Family series.

Dressed head-to-toe in a bold, serpentine latex look from Ashi Studio’s Fall 2025 couture collection, the 22-year-old actress and executive producer of the series stole the spotlight. Her outfit featured a high-neck semi-sheer top and a mermaid-cut skirt finished with frayed, asymmetrical ruffles.

Jenna rocked a beige snakeskin-textured corset with dramatic back-lacing, giving the appearance of a snake mid-shed. Ortega’s longtime stylist Enrique Melendez paired the avant-garde gown with statement beauty touches, including bleached eyebrows, matte burgundy lipstick, and a loosely tied ponytail.

Joining Jenna at the premiere were her parents, Natalie and Edward Ortega, along with an impressive lineup of castmates. The carpet was star-studded with appearances from Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Isaac Ordonez, Georgie Farmer, Fred Armisen, and Victor Dorobantu, among others.

Newcomers Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Joanna Lumley, and Frances O’Connor also made appearances, along with show creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and director Tim Burton.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who reprises her role as Morticia Addams, stunned in a sleek, backless gown featuring a high neckline and a keyhole cutout. Billie Piper, playing the new character Isadora Capri, brought Gothic elegance in a laced plunging dress.

Joanna Lumley dazzled in an embellished cape gown as she joined the cast as Grandmama Frump. Joy Sunday, who plays Bianca Barclay, made a fashion statement in a knitted dress with lace stockings, styled as a tribute to Alexander McQueen.

The excitement didn’t end on the carpet. Netflix recently confirmed that 'Wednesday' has not only been renewed for a third season but is also potentially expanding into spin-off territory. “It’s something we’re definitely noodling; there are other characters we can look at,” said co-creator Alfred Gough. Netflix’s chief content officer, Bela Bajaria, added, “There’s a lot to explore in the Addams Family.”
