It’s not couture week without Cardi B and her dramatic and head-turning looks. Over Fourth of July weekend, the rapper greeted fans in Paris in a cobalt-blue bodycon minidress reminiscent of one of Kim Kardashian's figure-hugging looks, but with an unmistakably Cardi twist.
The skintight dress featured a high-neck and long sleeves, with a bold hemline and a cinched silhouette, similar to Kim’s Balenciaga Vanity Fair Oscars look from 2022. However, Cardi’s version swapped the train and gloves for a more casual short dress.
Her styling was also similar, featuring a center-parted hairstyle, slicked into a low ponytail with face-framing strands falling. She also rocked a soft blush, nude lip, and a smile as she made her way into the crowd to share a sweet moment with them.
Fast forward to Monday, Cardi turned heads in a surrealist ensemble. She arrived at the Schiaparelli Fall 2025 Couture show not just dressed for drama, but walking into the building with a special friend. On the steps of the Petit Palais, in a sculpted black velvet gown dripping with ivory pearl fringe, she posed with a live raven.
Her Schiaparelli look, drawn from the house’s Spring 2024 couture collection, featured elongated, architectural shoulders and opera-length gloves hidden beneath the beaded curtain cascading from the bodice.
The raven, balanced calmly on her right arm as paparazzi screamed for shots, became the perfect companion. “That’s my friend,” she told WWD. “I control him. We’re best friends.” She also told photographers to keep it quiet as she did not want the raven to get upset.
Her hairstyle for the fashion moment was a 1920s bob with a sleek side part, also rocking dramatic brows, heavy liner, and a glossed lip. Accessories were minimal, with Cardi making a statement with pearl-drop earrings and a diamond microdermal stud below her left eye.
