Lizzo's latest outing comes days after she cut straight through the chatter about her recent weight loss. The 37-year-old star shared on the "Just Trish" podcast (June 19) about how she's been navigating her wellness journey. "I've tried everything," Lizzo said candidly. "It's just the science for me, calories in versus calories out. Ozempic works because you eat less food. It makes you feel full. If you can just do that on your own, mind over matter, it's the same."
When host Trisha Paytas asked Lizzo how she's stayed consistent, the singer didn't hesitate to say it all started with rethinking her diet. "What did it for me was — actually it was not being vegan," she revealed. "When I was vegan, I was eating a lot of fake meats, bread, rice — I was taking in 3,000 to 5,000 calories a day just trying to stay full."
In April, Lizzo shared she had lowered her body mass index by 10.5 points and reduced her body fat by 16%.
