Though fans expected her to attend the Met Gala, Karol chose to keep the spotlight on her latest project, her deeply personal Netflix documentary.

The film follows Karol’s evolution from a young girl in Medellín to the first Latina to headline a global stadium tour. The musician debuted a new hairstyle just days ago, going back to her natural hair color.

"I just went back to my natural color of my hair, because there is so much going on right now, so much coming right now," she said to Today about the new brown shade. "And I think I really wanted to be my most natural and original and authentic and genuine version of myself," she added.
