The 2026 MTV VMAs are officially taking over Los Angeles tonight, with the star-studded ceremony set to unfold at the Peacock Theater.
Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the annual awards show will celebrate some of the biggest names, videos, albums, and performances in music over the past year.
Madonna, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, and Ariana Grande are among the artists leading this year’s nominations, setting the stage for a night packed with plenty of star power.
And when it comes to the performances, Madonna is kicking things off as the show’s opening act. Raye, Lisa, Sombr, Teddy Swims, Shaboozey, Gunna, and more are also slated to hit the stage throughout the night.
Before the trophies are handed out and the performances get underway, all eyes will be on the red carpet, where the stars are expected to bring their fashion A-game.
The VMAs have never exactly been known for playing it safe when it comes to style. Over the years, the ceremony has given us some of the most unforgettable red carpet moments in pop culture, from Lil Kim’s iconic purple pasty look to Lady Gaga’s infamous meat dress.
