With Miss Universe just days away, emotions are running high in Thailand. While the contestants stay focused on rehearsals and final prep, family members and fans are already starting to arrive to be there for them on the big night. One of the sweetest moments so far came from Fátima Bosch, Miss Universe Mexico, who got a surprise visit from her brother, Bernardo. The young entrepreneur flew in to support her, and the two immediately wrapped each other in a long, emotional hug.

Before he reunited with her, Bernardo was stopped by local media asking if he had a message for his sister. Speaking in English, he said just how proud he and their parents are of everything the 26-year-old has accomplished over the last few days.
“Fátima, we are very proud of you. You are a very special woman; you always have been,” he said. “No matter the result, we’ll always be proud of you. Everything you’ve done these past few days is more than enough for us. We’re a happy family, proud of you, and we’ll always be here to support you. Viva México!”

The siblings shared a warm embrace while Bernardo whispered something in her ear - likely words of encouragement ahead of the competition, which will air live from Thailand on Thursday, November 20 at 7 pm ET/6 pm CT/4 pm PT on Telemundo.

With a striking level of composure and courage, Fátima spoke up and defended herself against his offensive behavior. In a video that went viral, the Thai director can be seen accusing Fátima of not cooperating with the organization, insulting her, and even calling security to remove her from the room.
Fátima responded by making it clear that the way she was being treated was completely disrespectful, and she chose to leave the room herself - the same room where the sash ceremony was supposed to take place.
As the hours went by, the video spread worldwide, and thousands rushed to support her - from former Miss Universe queens to current contestants and even several celebrities.
