Cardi B has once again proven she’s in a league of her own. In less than a week, her highly anticipated sophomore album, "Am I The Drama?" has not only dominated the charts but also rewritten music history, cementing her as one of the most influential artists of her generation.

"With Am I The Drama?" debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200, Cardi B becomes the first female rapper in history to have both of her first two albums open at the top spot. The project also secured 2025’s biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop album by a female artist, making it a cultural milestone that highlights her continued dominance.

Platinum in Under 24 Hours

If chart records weren’t enough, "Am I The Drama?" made an even bigger splash by becoming the fastest album ever to go RIAA Platinum, crossing 1 million total units sold in less than 24 hours. That feat wasn’t just about the music. Cardi partnered with Walmart to deliver physical copies via drones, snagging two Guinness World Records: “Most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour” and “Most signed album copies sold in under 8 hours.”

True to her reputation for giving fans exactly what they want, Cardi released multiple versions of the album almost immediately. The Bonus Edition and ErrTime Edition feature fresh tracks like “Don’t Do Too Much” and the Latto-assisted remix of “ErrTime.” For her most loyal supporters, she dropped the Bardi Gang Edition exclusively on her website for one day only, with a special track titled “Dear Bardi Gang.”

Streaming Records and Unstoppable Singles

On Apple Music, Cardi set fire to the charts. The album debuted at #1 and has held the top spot for its entire first week on both Apple Music and iTunes. Three tracks—“Dead” (ft. Summer Walker), “Magnet,” and “Safe” (ft. Kehlani)—all soared to #1 on the Apple Music Top Songs Chart during release week. This adds to her tally of 15 #1 hits on Apple Music, more than any other female artist in history.

As the follow-up to her GRAMMY-winning debut "Invasion of Privacy," the new album is stacked with features from some of the biggest names in music: Cash Cobain, Janet Jackson, Kehlani, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, and Tyla. The collaboration with Kehlani, “Safe,” came with a visually striking video directed by Arrad Rahgoshay, only amplifying the album’s cultural impact.
