Bad Bunny's residency "No me quiero ir de aquí" at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico has been historic. Each performance has turned into a cultural celebration, blending music, sports, acting, and celebrity appearances that underline how far-reaching Benito's influence truly is. Now, in the eighteenth show of this massive series, the spotlight landed on none other than Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2006, Zuleyka Rivera.

Bad Bunny selects one audience member during every show to perform the chant "¡Acho, PR es otra cosa!" — the opening cry for his track "Voy a llevarte pa' PR." On this night, Rivera took the mic, sending the Coliseo into a frenzy. For many fans, it was a full-circle Puerto Rican moment showing a former Miss Universe representing the island on one of the most globally visible music stages.

Rivera now joins a high-profile list of past shout-leaders, including Spanish actress Penélope Cruz, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, and Puerto Rican TV host Angelique "Burbu" Burgos. Each choice has carried symbolic weight, highlighting Puerto Rico's connections to both local icons and international figures.

A Residency Full of Star Power

The residency kicked off in late June and has been a magnet for celebrities worldwide. Beyond the special "shout" moment, Bad Bunny has been joined on stage and in the audience by a dizzying roster of artists, athletes, and cultural figures.

Urban legends like Wisin, Yandel, Arcángel, Jowell & Randy, Ñengo Flow, and De La Ghetto have electrified crowds. At the same time, new-gen stars such as Young Miko, Eladio Carrión, Mora, and Dei V have injected fresh energy into the shows. Even producers like Tainy have stepped out from behind the console to share the stage.

He's also brought in Puerto Rico's musical heritage, with salsa master Gilberto Santa Rosa, folk musicians like Los Pleneros de la Cresta, and even Alfonso Vélez, the composer of "El Fuá." Add in Ricky Martin, Tito El Bambino, and powerhouse female performers like RaiNao, and each night feels like a living timeline of Puerto Rican music.

Sundays With a Twist

Adding another layer of artistry, Sundays during the residency have featured rotating guest performances of "Lo que le pasó a Hawaii." Artists like Ednita Nazario, Pedro Capó, Kany García, Willy Rodríguez, and Farruko have each put their stamp on the song, creating a different vibe every week. It's become a fan favorite tradition that reminds audiences of Benito's ability to fuse genres and generations.

A Residency That Feels Like Home

Bad Bunny has always said his career is about representing Puerto Rico to the fullest. The residency shows that mission in action. From the moment Zuleyka Rivera's voice rang out across the Coliseo to the mix of reggaeton, salsa, folk, and pop stars on stage, "No me quiero ir de aquí"  is a love letter to the island.
