Jennifer Lopez is back! After a five-year hiatus from touring, J.Lo launched her highly anticipated "Up All Night" international tour in Pontevedra, Spain, on Tuesday night. What unfolded was a high-voltage declaration of rebirth, resilience, and raw energy from one of pop's most enduring icons.

Set in Tafisa Park in the heart of Pontevedra, the tour opener marked J.Lo's first time back on stage since 2019. Last year's planned tour was shelved due to personal reasons, but if the crowd's roaring response is any clue, the wait was worth every second.

Kicking off the night in a shimmering bodysuit, thigh-high boots, and a fringe-draped jacket, Lopez wasted no time igniting the stage. She launched into the floor-thumping classics "On the Floor" and "Save Me Tonight," immediately turning the park into a dance party under a summer night's heat. "How are we doing, Pontevedra?" she greeted the audience.

From Diva Glam to Bronx Roots

This was a journey through Jennifer Lopez's many facets. From dazzling outfits to moody lighting, she transported the crowd through her evolution as an artist.

Midway through the show, she peeled back the glam and tapped into her hip-hop roots, donning leather and belting out "Jenny from the Block," mashed up with Queen's iconic "We Will Rock You."

Then came "I'm Into You" with sensual choreography, sleek costumes, and flirtation. "Let's get sexier. Tonight I'm in control," she teased, to explosive cheers.

J.Lo, en Español

For Spanish-speaking fans, there was a special treat. Halfway through the concert, she switched to her parents' native language. According to local outlets, she performed "Gracias a la Vida" by Mercedes Sosa in a sparkling ruffled jumpsuit.

She then spiced things up with flamenco flair for "Ain't It Funny," complete with Spanish guitar, cajón, and rhythmic footwork. Two more Spanish songs followed: "Qué Hiciste" and Selena's "Si Una Vez" — a tribute to the Tejano star Lopez portrayed in the 1997 biopic that helped launch her acting career.

"I like singing in Spanish," she told the crowd. "I have to do it more. It fits better with my energy."

Healing Through Music

One of the most powerful moments came late in the show when Lopez got vulnerable. Sitting by a piano, she introduced "Wreckage," an unreleased ballad that many believe addresses her split from Ben Affleck. "Last summer was hard for me and for my kids," she confessed.

She followed up with feel-good bangers like "Waiting for Tonight" and "Dance Again," before stripping it all down one last time for the finale: a new track titled "Free." In cutoff denim shorts and a Rolling Stones tee, tears streaming down her face, J.Lo closed the night with a sense of release.
