The second season of "Wednesday" has shared its first official trailer, promising lots of danger and hilarious quips. Netflix has also shared some new photos from the set and an outline of what awaits Wednesday Addams on this new school year at Nevermore Academy.
Jenna Ortega leads an all-star cast that includes Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Steve Buscemi, and more, with the new trailer showing the first glimpse of the awaited season. The series finds Wednesday returning to Nevermore Academy with a newfound and unwelcome fame after the events that took place in the first season.
The teaser is filled with some of Wednesday's memorable lines. When asked about her feelings when returning to school, Wednesday says, “Like returning to the scene of the crime. … I already know where the bodies are buried."
The trailer also suggests some tension and drama, including the possibility of Enid's death, Wednesday's roommate and friend. “Enid dies and it’s all my fault,” says Wednesday to her mother.
In previous statements from Netflix, the series will find Wednesday investigating a new mystery. “Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery," reads the official synopsis.
