It's Friday, which means we have you covered with this week's hottest musical releases. From pregnant Rihanna's surprise Smurfs collaboration to new albums from Sebastián Yatra, DannyLux, and Beéle, get your playlist ready.

DANNYLUX - SIRENA

Mexican singer-songwriter and guitarist DannyLux drops his new album LEYENDA, a 19-track project that blends his sad sierreño style with sonic experimentation. The focus track, “Sirena,” is a modern corrido ballad about falling under the spell of a mysterious woman. The track comes to life in the short film he co-produced, LEYENDA, which also marks his acting debut. The sky is the limit for the 21-year-old.

Rihanna - Friend Of Mine (from the Smurfs Movie Soundtrack)

Rihanna's fans were begging for new music, but they probably weren't expecting it to come in the form of the Smurfs Movie soundtrack. On Friday, Rihanna surprised fans by dropping a Smurf-filled music video and track called "Friend of Mine." The video includes a few seconds of Rihanna twirling a flower umbrella before turning into animated nostalgia. The whole thing is kind of hilarious.

Thee Sacred Souls - We Don't Have to Be Alone

After back-to-back weekends at Coachella, Thee Sacred Souls are back with new music, releasing "We Don't Have to Be Alone." The soulful trio blends old school sounds, Chicano low riding music, soul, and R&B effortlessly and is a breath of fresh air in the music scene.

Sebastián Yatra - Milagro

Sebastián Yatra has released his first album in three years, Milagro. “This album came out of a profound personal transformation. I learned to see life through the lens of love, calmly, with faith, and with the desire to be part of the miracle of others as well. It is a more generous, more open way of living, which is reflected in every song. My greatest wish is for this album to be a sanctuary, a space where people can reconnect with something deeper within themselves,” shares Yatra.

With over 34 million monthly listeners, the Colombian rising star shows off his versatility across reggaetón, pop, Afrobeats, and Caribbean beats. The album features standout collabs with Carla Morrison (“arena”) and Marc Anthony (“Dios me oyó”), plus the perfect party track “No Tiene Sentido."
