Pamela Anderson is excited to share the details of her upcoming role. The Hollywood star, who recently made headlines for her hairstyle transformation at the Met Gala, is set to spark some serious chemistry on screen with Liam Neeson in the upcoming 'Naked Gun' reboot, set to be released August 1.

After her incredible performance in 'The Last Showgirl,' the 57-year-old actress is already generating buzz for her new project, as a femme fatale named Beth, alongside Neeson, who takes on the iconic role of police detective Frank Drebin.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Pamela reflected on her preparation for the comedy. She revealed that, much like in dramatic roles, she approached her comedic performance with great care. “It is the same depth of process for a high comedy as it is for a drama,” she explained.

“I worked hard on the role; it was another cathartic experience. Each film, it seems, tackles deep-seated issues that need to be expressed in ways other than anything else," Pamela told the publication.

When asked about the difficulty of maintaining composure during the comedy-heavy scenes, Pamela said, “Oh, yes! We definitely cracked up a few times during takes," adding that they played "the scenes dramatically and truthfully."

"The comedy is for the audience, not for us. We are in the moment," she said. Pamela revealed that their chemistry was evident right from the start. “Our chemistry was clear from the start,” she said. “We have the utmost respect for one another.”

Pamela called the actor “mysterious,” “inspiring,” and “a true gentleman.” Meanwhile, Neeson praised the actress. “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her,” he shared with People. “She’s just terrific to work with… No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

“I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed ‘professionally romantic’ during filming,” Pamela explained, talking about his work ethic, “I soaked him in like a sponge. I am in awe of him.”

“We had so much fun making it. I think it’s timely for a beloved comedy like this. I’m a fan of the originals. As Liam says, ‘We could all use a good giggle.’ I pray we do more,” she shared.
