Starring Rosamund Pike and based on one of the best-selling fantasy franchises of all time, the series is the rare TV show that started off in a rocky place and has managed to get better with every season, delivering something special and unique, especially for fans of the genre.
Common Side Effects (Max)
Noe streaming on Max, "Common Side Effects" is an animated series for adults about mushrooms. The series follows two high school friends who reconnect after one of them discovers a mushroom that has healing properties and can cure all illnesses.
Mythic Quest (Apple TV+)
It’s a big week for Apple TV+ releases. "Mythic Quest" is concluding its fourth season. The series is a comedy following a video game studio that produces a very popular MMORPG (that stands for Massively multiplayer online role-playing game, for those who are not gamers) and the people that make it.
The Studio (Apple TV+)
Developed by Seth Rogen, "The Studio" follows the newly appointed head of a film production company as he deals with some of the most annoying personalities in Hollywood. It co-stars an incredible cast that includes Catherine O'Hara, Chase Sui Wonders, and Kathryn Hahn, and includes guest stars like Martin Scorsese, Zac Efron, Olivia Wilde, and more, with all of them playing themselves.
Fight for Glory (Apple TV+)
"Fight for Glory" is a three-part documentary series on Apple TV+. Directed by RJ Cutler, the series follows the 2024 face-off between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip (Disney+)
Eva Longoria is producing and starring in "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip," a sweet comedy following a family on a road trip as they're haunted by some really bad luck. You should also check out our cover story with Longoria and Paulina Chavez.
Bachelorette (Hulu)
Lastly, "Bachelorette" will soon be available on Hulu. The film, released in 2012, stars Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fischer, and Lizzy Caplan, and follows three high school best friends who reunite for the wedding of their sweet friend (Rebel Wilson) who used to be bullied in high school, with the women having a tough time wrapping their heads around the fact that maybe their friend is in a much better place than the rest of them.
