It’s officially 2025, and we are going right into awards season. The first major award show this year is the 82nd annual Golden Globes this Sunday, January 5, and it will truly be a must-see event with the biggest names in Hollywood in attendance. With movies like The Substance, Wicked, Emilia Perez, Challengers, and The Brutalist up for awards, and stars like Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, Pamela Anderson, Angelina Jolie, and Nicole Kidman up for nominations, it’s a night you don’t want to miss.

Emmy-nominated comedian Nikki Glaser will serve as host. She is also making history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo.

Of course, we love to see diverse representation, and it’s exciting to learn that Salma Hayek-Pinault, Ariana DeBose, Aubrey Plaza, and Anya Taylor-Joy, will be representing the Latinas.

  • The Golden Globes, often referred to as “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” is the largest awards show in the world to celebrate both film and television.
