The Hollywood star is also known to be an incredible musician and has a loyal fanbase that supports her musical projects. However, following the success of the Broadway musical adaptation, and with the second installment coming up in November 2025, Ariana is not focused on music at the moment.

The star opened up about the future of her career, as many online users continue to wonder if she will be working in new music and touring in the near future while being booked and busy in the film industry. “I feel so grateful to the acting, and I think my fans know that music and being on stage will always be a part of my life,” Ariana said to Variety at the Golden Globes First-Time Nominees luncheon.

Despite still being passionate about music, the actress is pursuing new roles in acting at the moment. “I don’t see it coming anytime soon. I think the next few years, hopefully, we’ll be exploring different forms of art, and I think acting is feeling like home right now," she said to the publication when asked if she planned on touring.

"I am appreciative for [my fans’] understanding. I’m so grateful for the ways in which we’ve grown together over this whole journey with ‘Wicked.’ But music will always be a part of my life," she added.

Ariana's comments come after it was rumored that she would be touring in 2025, with her label shutting down the rumors online. “There are no plans for a tour next year. But Ariana remains deeply appreciative of her fans and all their continued love, support, and excitement," her label stated.
