Shot by the talented Latino celebrity photographer Carlos Eric Lopez, the Lopez-Lopez photoshoot had a special meaning for him. Reflecting on his experience on set, Lopez shared, “As I walked into the empty soundstage on the NBCUniversal lot before my crew and I set up for the gallery photoshoot, I felt a sense of pride wash over me. It was a moment filled with emotion, knowing the significance of the opportunity before us.

Having previously photographed some of the cast, including George and Mayan Lopez, along with ‘Lopez vs Lopez’ showrunner Debby Wolfe, the suggestion from Mayan to NBC to bring me on board for Season 2’s marketing shoot was both humbling and empowering.”

The show’s leading star Mayan Lopez emphasized the importance of representation and empowerment in the industry stating, “I thought of Carlos Eric Lopez immediately to be the one to shoot and creative direct our gallery images. I have been photographed by Carlos at a handful of events celebrating Latinos and Hollywood, as that community has gotten tighter over the years.”

She continued “I always feel so empowered and beautiful in his work and am lucky to call him a friend. As the only show with a predominantly Latin cast on network television, it just deepens that message with him behind the camera. It was Lopez vs Lopez vs LOPEZ on set that day and a fun and memorable one to remember always.”

In “Lopez vs. Lopez,” the dynamic between once-estranged father and daughter George and Mayan unfolds with humor and love as they navigate parenthood, relationships, and family dynamics. George’s unconventional parenting advice for Mayan’s son Chance, coupled with playful banter with her boyfriend, Quinten, adds a lighthearted touch to their interactions.

Actress Selenis Leyva plays George’s ex-wife, Rosie, which despite their character’s tensions, brings lots of laughter and affection.

Cute and talented actor Brice Gonzalez plays Mayan’s son ‘Chance’. He is also known for his role in Eva Longoria’s 2023 movie, Flamin‘ Hot.

Matt Shively, Mayan’s boyfriend Quinten, is known for his roles in Nickelodeon shows like True Jackson, VP, where he played Ryan Laserbeam. His charm and chemistry with Mayan make him the perfect match for this family-friendly series.

Alessandro Madrigal, who plays Oscar in the series, is an American comedian, writer, actor, and producer. He co-founded the All Things Comedy podcast network with Bill Burr and gained fame on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a regular correspondent for five seasons.
