Tom Cruise was forced to put a hold on his highly-anticipated film Mission: Impossible , after a COVID-19 crisis started, when multiple people of the production crew tested positive for the dangerous virus.
The 58-year-old actor is producing and starring in the film as the iconic Ethan Hunt, however it is still unknown if the star has been directly impacted, as it was reported that members of the crew are now self isolating.
Mission: Impossible 7 has been shut down for 14 days, and fans of the legendary franchise are wondering if the premiere date is still set for May, 2022.

With some additions to the popular film, that include Rob Delaney, Cary Elwes, and Esai Morales, who replaced Nicholas Hoult.
