Angelina Jolie is showing off her skills behind the camera, now that she has signed to direct the film Unreasonable Behavior, based on the biopic of iconic photographer Don McCullin.

The exceptional work of the British photojournalist captured the war in Vietnam and Cambodia, transmitting an inspiring and remarkable story amid the emotional encounters with victims and soldiers.

The 44-year-old actress is thrilled to start the new project and has expressed how “humbled” she is “to have a chance to bring Don McCullin’s life to film,” adding that she was “drawn to his unique combination of fearlessness and humanity.”

The movie will be produced by 43-year-old actor Tom Hardy and Dean Baker, while McCullin and Mark George are overseeing the project as executive producers.

There’s still an announcement to be made for the cast of Unreasonable Behavior, however an star studded cast is expected, taking into account the involvement of A-List stars.

The producers of the film described the storyline, intending to showcase Don’s remarkable story, as he is “a man who deserves to be remembered for his extraordinary contribution, service and lifelong work to humanity,” during the “rise and fall of a unique era of journalism.”
