Olivia Colman is putting Gillian Anderson on the spotlight, praising her for the most incredible portrayal of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
The two co-stars are set to appear in the upcoming season of the popular Netflix drama The Crown , making fans eager for the new storyline that will also introduce Emma Corrin as Lady Diana for the fourth season release.
Olivia, who portrays Queen Elizabeth II , revealed that “most of the scenes” between the Prime Minister and the Queen are in one location, adding that the production schedules allow filming in just one week, highlighting Gillian’s acting skills, as she is “incredible at knowing all of her words and terrifying at looking exactly like Margaret Thatcher.”

Josh O’Connor who portrays Prince Charles has also praised Corrin for her performance, admitting to be “in awe of her” as they filmed the new episodes.
Olivia went on to talk about Gillian and further explained that it’s almost “spooky” to see how “hair and make-up and wardrobe” add so much to the character, making the actors disappear in the most brilliant way.
Admitting that she was truly amazed with her co-star on the set of The Crown and promised the audience to be blown away.
