The Jane the Virgin family is back together, and this reunion comes with an exciting new Hollywood project. Justin Baldoni recently reunited with his former co-stars Gina Rodriguez and Jaime Camil on the set of Rodriguez's upcoming boxing movie, House of Guerrero. The unexpected gathering gave fans of the beloved CW series a nostalgic glimpse of three familiar faces together again, seven years after the show's finale.
Baldoni, 42, shared photos from the reunion in an Instagram carousel on Tuesday, October 20. The pictures featured Rodriguez, 42, who is directing and starring in the upcoming film, as well as Camil, 53, who played her onscreen father in Jane the Virgin.
The reunion is particularly meaningful because Rodriguez and Baldoni are collaborating professionally again, this time with Rodriguez stepping behind the camera for her feature-film directorial debut.

Baldoni's latest Instagram update offered followers a look at several personal and professional moments, including his visit to the set of House of Guerrero. The actor also shared photos featuring his wife, Emily Baldoni, and their children, Maiya and Maxwell, during a visit to a live taping of Dancing with the Stars.
Other familiar faces in the carousel included Julianne Hough, Becky G, Travis Van Winkle, Marinda Davis, Eugene Kim, and Carlos Sanson Jr.
The post celebrated his son's birthday, with Baldoni writing, "Dancing through Maxwell's 9th birthday."
For longtime Jane the Virgin viewers, however, the reunion with Rodriguez and Camil was a particularly memorable part of the update.
The three actors spent five seasons bringing the Villanueva family's dramatic, romantic, and frequently hilarious storylines to life.
Rodriguez portrayed Jane Villanueva, an aspiring writer whose life changed after an accidental artificial insemination. Baldoni played Rafael Solano, Jane's love interest and the biological father of her son, while Camil starred as her larger-than-life father, Rogelio de la Vega.
The series premiered in 2014 and concluded in 2019 after five seasons.
What Is Gina Rodriguez's New Movie House of Guerrero About?
House of Guerrero is being developed as a boxing drama with Latino representation at the center of its storytelling. The screenplay was written by Bernardo Cubría, whose credits include Acapulco.
The project is especially personal for Rodriguez, who has spoken openly about her longtime connection to boxing and her desire to tell stories that reflect her community.
In a September statement to Deadline, Rodriguez described directing the film as the start of an important new phase in her career. "Directing this film feels like the beginning of a new chapter in a story I've been carrying with me my entire life," she said.
She also explained how her personal experience with the sport inspired her creative vision. "I've been boxing since I could walk, and I'm on a mission to show the world what fighting can teach you about life, if you let it," Rodriguez shared. "I've dreamed about this film for so long, and I truly cannot wait to step into the ring and bring it to life," she added.
The movie is being produced by Baldoni and Andrew Calof for Wayfarer Studios, Scott Budnick and Ameet Shukla for 1Community, and Molly Breeskin for Rodriguez's I Can And I Will Productions.
