Reese Witherspoon had plenty of family support by her side as she stepped onto the red carpet Saturday night to celebrate a major milestone for her son, Deacon Phillippe.
The 50-year-old actress attended the premiere of Deacon’s new movie Brother Save Us at the 57th Nashville Film Festival, bringing along daughter Ava Phillippe, 27, and her own mother, Betty, 78.
Three Generations On The Red Carpet
Witherspoon looked effortlessly chic in a strapless white top paired with black trousers as she posed alongside her daughter and mother.
Ava, who has long been compared to her famous mom, turned heads in a fitted beige mini dress featuring a plunging neckline and thin diagonal stripes. She finished the look with white open-toe platform heels.

And then there was Deacon, 22, who looked ready for his Hollywood close-up in a textured brown suit styled with a sheer brown shirt.
Reese’s Growing Family
Witherspoon shares Ava and Deacon with her former husband, actor Ryan Phillippe, 52. The pair married in 1999 and split in 2008 after nine years together.
The Legally Blonde star later married Jim Toth in 2011, and they welcomed son Tennessee in September 2012. Witherspoon and Toth announced their split in 2023, just ahead of their 12th wedding anniversary.
© Jason KempinThe family has continued to show up for one another, including when Deacon graduated from New York University in May. Phillippe, Ava, Tennessee and Toth were all there to celebrate the achievement.
Witherspoon also marked the occasion on Instagram, proudly celebrating her son’s accomplishment.
“After four years of hard work, long days, endless papers and classes, working with the greatest teachers and making new friends...” she wrote.
“My wonderful son graduated from @nyutisch! I'm so proud of you @deaconphillippe!”
Deacon Addresses His ‘Nepo Baby’ Status
As Deacon steps into the film world, he’s also aware that having two famous parents comes with its own set of expectations.
In a recent interview with Variety, the 22-year-old addressed his “nepo baby” status while discussing his feature film debut.

“I'm not really looking to prove anything to anyone but myself to try to be the best version I can be, the best person I can be and work as hard as I can.”
What Is Brother Save Us About?
Brother Save Us takes place on a farm in a dystopian Midwest, where failing crops and a collapsing world put two brothers at the center of a fight to hold onto hope.
According to Nashville Downtown, the story follows brothers Cole and Nat, whose close relationship helps them find some light despite their increasingly bleak surroundings.
Cole tries to protect Nat from the harsh reality around them, but things take a turn after their father purchases an AI farm bot from controversial tech company Agentico in an effort to save their harvest.
Deacon is credited as a producer on the film, which was written and directed by Jesse Behrenwald.
The movie also features Thomas Murphy Molony, Chandler Riggs, Forrest Weber, Amy Sloan, Kroydell Galima and Victor Holstein.
