Sydney Sweeney is making white her signature color in Venice. The 28-year-old actress stepped out in the Italian city on Thursday, September 3, delivering another polished fashion moment as she boarded one of Venice’s famous water taxis during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
For the sunny outing, Sydney embraced minimalist glamour in a crisp white strapless mini dress featuring a straight neckline and a clean, fitted silhouette.
The understated design put the focus on its sharp construction and leg-baring length, making it an effortlessly sophisticated choice for a daytime trip through the canals.
She created a striking black-and-white contrast with narrow black sunglasses and a structured black clutch, while a sparkling diamond bracelet provided just the right amount of glamour.
Her beauty look was equally streamlined. Sydney wore her long blonde hair sleek and straight with a center part, allowing it to fall down her back as she made her way onto the boat. Her makeup appeared fresh and natural, complementing the pared-back feel of her outfit.
At one point, the 'Euphoria' star flashed a smile and waved while standing aboard the water taxi, looking every bit at home amid the cinematic Venetian backdrop.
A white-hot Venice wardrobe:
The mini also continued an unexpected fashion theme for Sydney, who had worn another strapless white creation just hours earlier.
On Wednesday evening, the actress headed to dinner at Venice's famous Harry's Bar wearing an archival Chanel dress from the fashion house's Spring 1987 collection by Karl Lagerfeld.
Sourced from Raffe Vintage, the romantic ivory design featured a sweetheart neckline, gathered bodice and draped detailing over its flowing skirt. She paired it with a brown Chanel bag, white mules and slim sunglasses.
The two outfits couldn't have been more different despite sharing the same strapless silhouette and pale palette. Her vintage Chanel brought '80s romance to an evening in the city, while Thursday's abbreviated mini offered a much more modern, minimalist interpretation.
Sydney's Venice fashion marathon actually began upon her arrival on September 2, when she opted for another vintage piece, a sheer lace Georges Chakra halter top teamed with tailored Bermuda shorts and transparent Gianvito Rossi shoes.
Sydney's return to Venice:
The actress is attending this year's festival as an ambassador for Armani Beauty, which is once again serving as the Venice International Film Festival's official beauty sponsor.
The brand's Venice activities this year also include fellow ambassador Kendall Jenner. Unlike many of the stars descending on the Lido, Sydney does not appear to be in Venice to premiere a new movie, leaving plenty of room for her evolving festival wardrobe to take center stage.
And after vintage lace, archival Chanel, and now a sleek white mini, her Venice style story is only getting started.
