Pamela Anderson may be enjoying one of the most talked-about career chapters of her life, but some fans are just as interested in what she is growing at home.

The actress has been sharing glimpses of her sprawling garden on Vancouver Island, Canada, and her gardening skills are earning plenty of praise on social media. From overflowing roses and vegetable beds to seed packets and vine-covered structures, Anderson’s outdoor space looks less like a celebrity showpiece and more like a garden that is actually being planted, tended, and enjoyed.

Pamela Anderson’s garden earns praise on social media

Her TikTok posts offered followers a closer look at Anderson’s approach to gardening. Videos showed the actress dressed in loose white clothing while tending plants, along with a rose-covered structure and views toward the Pacific. Anderson also included seed packets for crops including carrots, peppers, corn, and cabbage.

One follower praised Anderson and her surroundings, writing, “We love you Pamela! What a gorgeous garden.” Another commented, “Beautiful garden, beautiful woman... What a peaceful natural life you have created for yourself.”

Others were equally taken with the sense of calm Anderson’s gardening posts convey. “She is so inspirational, her life seems so peaceful and beautiful in the best possible way,” one Instagram user commented, according to House Beautiful.

Anothers added, “Gorgeous garden and what a beautiful way to think of life,” and “This amazing person was treated so badly by the Hollywood industry. I’m glad she’s fine and doing what she wants.”

And: “Who knew she would end up so cool? I love this for her.”

It is not difficult to understand the reaction. Anderson’s garden has become a significant part of her public image, particularly as she has embraced a more natural, home-centered lifestyle.

Pamela Anderson is seriously into gardening

Anderson has developed an expansive garden at Arcady, her family property on Vancouver Island. She told Architectural Digest that the seven-acre property includes roses, melons, ground cherries and a substantial vegetable-growing operation. The vegetable beds alone cover roughly 15,000 square feet.

Her gardening style is not particularly rigid, either. “I’m a romantic gardener. I don’t like straight lines,” Anderson told the publication.

She described the garden as “Provençal,” explaining that she likes wildflowers, herbs and vegetables growing together rather than separating everything into highly controlled areas.

Pamela Anderson’s gardening advice is refreshingly simple

Despite the scale of her own garden, Anderson’s advice for beginners is surprisingly accessible.

Asked by Architectural Digest what she would tell someone planting a first garden, she replied: “Just make a lot of mistakes and try.”

She then reduced the basics even further: “Really, it’s soil, water, and sun. It’s the simplest thing.”

Anderson has also revealed that her favorite things to grow include Yves Piaget roses and heirloom tomatoes.

The roses are not merely decorative. She harvests rose hips and uses them to make face oils and other homemade beauty treatments. Her homegrown vegetables have also influenced her cooking, including recipes connected to her vegan cookbook, I Love You: Recipes from the Heart.

Gardening helped Pamela Anderson begin again

There is another reason Anderson’s garden resonates beyond its appearance.

When she returned to Vancouver Island around the beginning of the pandemic, gardening became closely connected to the personal reset that would eventually accompany her career resurgence. “When I moved home to restart, I instantly thought, I’m going to make an incredible garden,” she told Architectural Digest.

For Anderson, the process became a useful metaphor. “You can replant your garden every year, rotate your crops,” she explained. “I started learning a lot about it and thought, this is how I want my life to be.”

She has described Arcady as the place “where everything came back together for me,” adding that her current chapter “started in the garden.”

Anderson has also spoken about the physical experience of gardening, particularly the simple act of working directly with the earth.

“There’s just something about it, getting your hands dirty, even being barefoot in the garden, something about it connects me back to who I am,” she said. “That’s where I found myself again.”

Her garden has become part of Pamela Anderson’s new lifestyle era

Anderson’s interest in growing food and flowers now extends into several areas of her work.

Her Canadian property was featured in Pamela’s Garden of Eden, while cooking, gardening and home life have increasingly appeared alongside her acting projects. She has published a vegan cookbook and expanded into lifestyle and home design projects while continuing to garden at Arcady.

Her sons have even become involved.

Anderson told Architectural Digest that Brandon Thomas Lee approaches gardening with detailed drawings, grids and plant names, while Dylan Jagger Lee brings what she jokingly called the “cool factor,” knowing when something looks “good and peaceful and right.”

The garden also produces more than Anderson and her family can use. She has said its harvest helps supply food banks, soup kitchens, churches, neighbors, friends, and relatives.
