Ariana Grande is single, prompting much speculation about her love life. A couple of months ago, representatives for Grande revealed that she and her boyfriend of a couple of years, Ethan Slater, had broken up. Now, it's rumored that Grande has reunited with one of her exes, Ricky Alvarez, who gets a name check in one of Grande's most famous songs.
© GettyAccording to a source, Grande and Alvarez have been spending time. "They've been hanging out recently," said the source to PEOPLE.
The pair was spotted grabbing some lunch in Texas, Grande was in the state as a part of her "Eternal Sunshine Tour," which has been taking her through the country. He was also recorded at the show, singing along to Grande's songs.
Alvarez and Grande dated for about a year, from 2015 to 2016. He is one of the exes who gets name-checked in the song "Thank u, Next."

Grande modified the lyrics for the performance, singing, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now they still kinda slap.”
Over the years, Grande has had some notorious romances, including Mac Miller, Pete Davidson, Dalton Gomez, and Slater. Despite the break up, Alvarez and Grande remain friends, with him sharing his reaction to the release of "Thank u, Next." He filmed himself listening to the song, with the camera zooming into his face. "Nothing but gratitude," he wrote on a slide. “Thank you, next… (those songs are fire tho… you're welcome).”

Alvarez and Grande confirmed their relationship in 2016, with her confirming the news with Billboard. “We're happy. I'm a very happy girl. I have a healthy life right now, and I think that's all anyone cares to know. The end."
Alvarez is a professional photographer. He is also a dancer, which is how he met Grande, joining her on the Honeymoon tour in 2015.
