Maddox Jolie brings a new TV home weeks after dropping his father's name

Maddox Jolie is getting his home ready. In some new photos shared earlier this week, Maddox was photographed getting a large TV out of a moving truck, weeks after dropping his father's surname.

Photographers captured Maddox and a friend in Los Angeles, working hard to bring a large TV down from a moving truck. In different photos, Maddox is seen lifting the TV with the help of one of the movers, with his friend standing by him. 

Maddox wore a comfortable-looking outfit, likely pajamas, made up of a blue t-shirt, black shorts with yellow prints on them, reading glasses, and some black Converse sneakers.

Maddox recently dropped his father's name

Late last month, Maddox took official steps to change his last name. Throughout his life, Maddox had the surname Jolie-Pitt, after his mother and father, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. 

As reported by TMZ, Maddox is now the latest of the Jolie-Pitt kids to change his family name, disregarding Pitt's and embracing Jolie fully. He filed the necessary paperwork, becoming Maddox Chivan Jolie. Other members of his family to change their names include Shiloh, who filed the legal paperwork, Zahara and Vivienne, who dropped the name Pitt on different occasions, with Zahara introducing herself as Zahara Jolie on her graduation from Spelman College and Vivienne listing her name in the credits of the Broadway play "The Outsiders" as Vivienne Jolie.

Earlier this year, Maddox embraced his legal name professionally, with him being credited as Maddox Jolie on the film "Couture," where he served as a production assistant. The film, starring Angelina Jolie, marks their latest collaboration together, with him working on different sets of hers through the years, including the 2024 "Maria." 

Over the years, Jolie has spoken about Maddox and his personality, revealing that he's very similar to her. “I am a pilot,” said Jolie on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." “And my son Maddox is training to be a pilot, too. He, actually, he is a pilot now.”
