Heidi Klum proved once again that nobody rocks a little black dress like her. The 79th Cannes Film Festival is underway, and Klum has been busy all week. On May 13, she was spotted arriving at her hotel looking glamorous while carrying her new tiny child, a fluffy white dog named Fritz.
Klum arrived wearing a sleek black asymmetrical gown with a dramatic side cutout that showed off just the right amount of skin.
The draped silhouette hugged her figure, and she paired the dress with black strappy heels, oversized dark sunglasses, and loose beachy waves.
But the real scene-stealer may have been the little pup tucked under her arm. Klum introduced the puppy named Fritz in April. "Adopted this 6-month-old fluff ball, Fritz," she wrote in a video posted to Instagram, walking down the street with him sitting pretty in a bag. She revealed there was a pop-up adoption center next to the film studio where she was working, with over 50 dogs.
"As the day went on, most dogs found a home, but this little scraggly fluff ball was still in his cage," she explained. Klum said she had to convince her husband, Tom Kaulitz, but eventually got her way. "It took me some convincing with my husband, as I know he is right …. But I could not leave him behind," she shared.
Just hours before Klum's hotel arrival, she walked the red carpet for La Vénus Electrique (The Electric Venus). She rocked a flowing champagne-toned gown that looked straight out of an old Hollywood fantasy. The dress featured a plunging neckline with a dramatic floral appliqué at the center of the bust, along with ruched draping across the waist that created a soft, goddess-like silhouette.
The fabric flowed into a long train behind her as she posed on the iconic red steps, while the warm gold-beige tone gave the whole look an ethereal glow against the red carpet. She finished the glam with loose waves, bronzed makeup, and soft glam styling that kept the focus on the romantic dress.
While Fritz didn't get to walk down the red carpet, they were spotted reunited again shortly after at the Hotel Martinez.
She rocked a muted sage-green power suit with an oversized blazer and relaxed tailored trousers. The 52-year-old paired the monochromatic look with brown leather loafers, tinted sunglasses, and a structured olive-green tote bag that perfectly matched the earthy tones. Fritz looked adorable.
But her photo moments didn't stop there. She headed to Jane & Gong Li's dinner celebration in the evening, wearing a showstopping, pink, shimmering blush-toned gown with soft pink feather details.
Over the years, Klum has become a regular at the festival, often bringing high-glamour fashion moments mixed with a little bit of playful unpredictability. Just like her Met Gala 2026 look, which quickly went viral.
