Elsa Pataky is back in her hometown of Madrid for the premiere of her new TV show. The Spanish actress stars in "El Homenaje" alongside a talented cast of Spanish actors, including the late Eusebio Poncela. For the occasion, Pataky wore a striking short dress embedded with gemstones, making her one of the most striking fashion figures of the evening.
For the outing, Pataky wore a dazzling Zuhair Murad mini dress. With a tight fit to the body, the dress highlighted Pataky's athletic build and showed off her legs. It was also a showcase of some stunning designs, featuring geometric patterns made with precious stones in different shades, including lilac, silver, and black.
Pataky completed the look with some nude stiletto heels and discreet jewelry from Tiffany & Co., in the shape of a ring and a thin bracelet. She styled her hair loose and wavy, looking blonder than ever, with it all allowing for the dress to remain the focus of the ensemble.
It was an outfit that served for the proper homecoming for Pataky, an artist known for her love of jewels, dazzling colors, and fun dresses when attending these sorts of events.
Pataky's return to her Spanish roots
Elsa Pataky is one of Spain's most famous actresses, known for her work in Hollywood and for her large global imprint. Aside from her marriage to Chris Hemsworth, which is closely followed by people from all over the world, Pataky is also known for her commitment to fitness and wellness, something that she has built into the fabric of her business.
Understandably, the actress hadn't had time to return to her work in Spain, the country where she was born and where she had some of her first acting experiences. Over the past couple of years, Pataky has made it her mission to work in Spanish, reuniting with old colleagues and spending more time in her hometown.
"It's been a whole experience to get back to work in Spanish. It had been a long time since I only spoke English," she said in an interview with La Sexta, as she promoted the Spanish TV series "Matices." "There comes a time where it's a break for you brain to be able to work in your mother tongue. It's much more comfortable because you don't have to prepare the accent."
In a recent Instagram post, Pataky shared various behind-the-scenes photos from her time in "El Homenaje." "Happy to be a part of El Homenaje. Available starting April 23rd. I hope you love it!" she captioned the post in Spanish.
