Tom Brady has met his match. In a new video, he shared a look at what he gets up to with his daughter Vivian, whom he shares with his ex-partner Gisele Bündchen, revealing a rarely seen sporty side of her to the public.
The post, shared on his Instagram, shows Brady practicing volleyball with Vivian, with the two playing in what appears to be their home's front yard. The pair are seen wearing comfortable clothes, with Brady sporting shorts and a bare chest as he throws some balls for Vivian to volley.
Vivian wears black shorts and a long grey top, with her hair held back in a pony and her feet bare. "Okay, it's filming," she says at the start of the video. Vivian is then seen returning every one of Brady's shots, showing her volleyball skills and no sign of tiring out. At one point, their dog adorably runs across the frame, enjoying the activity and movement in the yard.
"Saturday nights with my future Olympian," Brady captioned the post. "I think I finally found someone who likes practice more than I did."
The post inspired dozens of likes and comments from his followers, including David Beckham and the official account of USA Volleyball. "You met your match and some," wrote Beckham, adding a few heart emojis.
"Putting in the work! Swing by the National Team gym anytime!" wrote the USA Volleyball account, showing an interest in Vivian's sporty skills.
Brady and Vivian's sweet relationship
Over the years, Brady has shown how special his relationship with his daughter is, celebrating her on birthdays and on special occasions. “Your smile lights up my life, and hearing you laugh is my favorite soundtrack,” he wrote in an Instagram post published on December. “I’m so proud of you and how hard you work in school and in your sports. You put your heart into everything you do. You’ve always been such a loving sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin, bringing so much joy to everyone in our family."
He encourages his kids to pursue sports, with all of them pursuing a wide variety of them. In the case of Vivian, she's been seen practicing horseback riding, volleyball, swimming, and soccer. Brady's sons, Jack and Ben, have been involved with basketball, hockey, and football.
He's revealed that he likes to go to their sporting events. "I'm probably pretty irritating to them,” said Brady on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “They want me to stand outside the arena when they're playing. They're like, ‘Dad, don't come in here.’”
