Aubrey Plaza has many things on the horizon to look forward to as a creator of life and art. The funny woman is not only expecting her first child, but her animated show, Kevin, is set to hit streaming on April 20. Ahead of the show's release, she stopped by The View in New York City, showing off her baby bump in an adorable look. The 41-year-old wasn't alone; she was with a life-size version of Kevin, and the duo held hands for a photopp.

It was revealed earlier this month that Plaza and her Black Bear co-star Chris Abbott are expecting their first child this fall. Since then, she's been spotted showing off her pregnancy style.

Plaza arrived at the show wearing a navy sleeveless mini dress, paired with comfortable white loafers and a London-based handbag brand, DeMellier.

She completed the look with round black sunglasses, gold hoops, a gold ring, and her hair styled with loose waves.  Once inside for filming, she switched to strappy black sandals with a low heel, and she and Kevin hit more fierce poses on the way out.

Kevin is loosely inspired by a real-life break-up between Plaza and her co-creator and writer, Joe Wengert. It tells the story of a house cat who was caught in the middle, navigating life after a breakup. "Joe and I - a long time ago, we lived in Queens, which is where the show is. We actually had two cats, Kevin and Howard, and we adopted them from like a mob family," she explained on The View.

According to Amazon Prime's website, "Kevin moves into a local pet rescue in Astoria, Queens, where a chaotic band of misfit animals will help him to figure out what he really wants out of life."

While on The View, they asked Plaza what it was like for her and her ex to pitch the idea around town. "It was really weird," she admitted. "Pitching the show was like a really full circle, like a crazy moment...  I was 19 when I met Joe, and so it kind of felt like cathartic and kind of like couples therapy, but 20 years later in front of Amazon," she added.

She went on to quip that seeing the giant Kevin was a bit of a strange experience.  "That is actually what our cat, Kevin, looked like. That is our cat, so this is like an acid trip for me," she said. "There's a lot going on - for me."

Plaza voices a drunk spider on the show, which also stars Jason Schwartzman (Kevin), Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters, Aparna Nancherla, Gil Ozeri, and Amy Sedaris.
