Sanz paired his message with an image of the two artists dancing together onstage, a snapshot of joy that captured their natural chemistry. Shakira appeared barefoot, wearing a long dress with sheer details and cutouts, her curly hair loose and unmistakable. Sanz wore an all-black outfit, punctuated by white shoes.

The moment was set to “Bésame,” a song the pair released in May of last year. The track represented a new era of collaboration, arriving two decades after their global success with “La Tortura” in 2005 and their later duet “Te Lo Agradezco Pero No” in 2007. During the encounter, Shakira shared an observation from her children. “Me dicen mis hijos: ‘¡Es igual a ti la novia de Alejandro!’” which in English translates to, “My kids tell me, ‘Alejandro’s girlfriend looks just like you!’”
