Camila Morrone is balancing a busy press tour with personal pride, and doing it all in effortless winter style. The actress has been in New York City promoting the second season of The Night Manager, where she stars as Roxana Bolaños alongside Tom Hiddleston.
Between television appearances and fashion-forward street style moments, Morrone has also been candid about her roots, her family, and her unwavering love for soccer star Lionel Messi.
During a recent appearance on TODAY, Morrone reflected on returning to the series and the nerves that came with the experience, especially during the first table read.
“It's so scary. I heard my heart beating in my ear the whole time," Camila said. She also shared a lighter detail from her routine, revealing that her go-to snack is Walker’s Shortbread.
While making the media rounds, Morrone’s wardrobe quickly caught attention. She shared photos on Instagram from her NYC press tour showcasing a chic lineup of winter looks.
One standout ensemble featured a sculpted ivory knit dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline, combining clean lines with understated elegance. The fitted silhouette highlighted her minimalist approach, complemented by warm bronzed makeup, natural lashes, and a neutral lip.
In another look, Morrone leaned into the season with a black leather jacket paired with a flowing black midi skirt and knee-high boots, striking a balance between polished and practical.
She was spotted arriving at the NBC studios ahead of her appearance, wearing a Gabriela Hearst Fall 2025 leather trench. The statement coat featured an asymmetric lamb shearling hem that added warmth and movement. Leather boots completed the look, while inside the studio, she changed into an off-the-shoulder black dress.
Beyond fashion and television, Morrone used the interview to highlight the support she receives from her family. She shared that her mother remains closely involved in her career, regularly reading scripts from her latest projects and offering guidance when she feels uncertain about taking on a new role.
The conversation also turned to her Argentinian heritage and her love of soccer as the World Cup approaches. Morrone didn’t hesitate when talking about her favorite player.
“I’m a Messi fan specifically, huge Messi fan,” she said. “So my birthday is June 16, and Messi is playing the first game in Kansas City. So I think I have to go to Kansas City to spend my 29th birthday watching Messi.”
Her admiration for Messi is deeply tied to her cultural pride. Morrone honored her Argentinian roots at the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards, where she attended the ceremony alongside her father. Speaking during the TNT and HBO Max pre-show for Latin America, she reflected on the significance of the moment.
“I am very proud to be here. I am with my dad, and this is a very special moment for me.” She went on to reaffirm her connection to Argentina, emphasizing that both of her parents and grandparents were born and raised there.
“I’m Argentinian! My mother and father were born and raised in Argentina, as well as my grandparents. I don’t have anyone in the United States, just mom and dad. So this telling me that I am not Argentine is no more! I just returned from Buenos Aires, I was also in Punta del Este, and I had a great time.”
