Nicola Peltz is once again making headlines, this time over alleged claims about just how generous her billionaire father may be. During a recent episode of the Rest Is Entertainment podcast, co-host Marina Hyde alleged that the Bates Motel actress receives a staggering monthly allowance from her dad, investor Nelson Peltz.
Nelson is the founder of Trian Fund Management and has an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion, per Forbes. According to Hyde, “From what I hear,” the number sits at $1 million a month - a claim that immediately sparked side-eyes and speculation.
That said, Page Six reports the alleged allowance is flat-out "100%" false. Which means Hyde might be getting a cease-and-desist soon. A source pushed back hard on the rumor, telling the outlet, “The quote in question has no source because it is not true. It is simply a fabricated rumor made up from thin air.”
Hyde also made allegations that the Beckham family operates very differently when it comes to financial support. “From what I hear, I think [David and Victoria Beckham] give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money," he said, adding, "they kind of have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent."
She also claimed Nelson may have questioned that approach, adding, “I hear — and maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this — but I hear that he said to [Victoria and David], ‘I give my daughter a million-dollar month allowance. Why don’t you?”
Brooklyn’s famous parents have a combined net worth of $673 million.
The drama never ends
It's been nonstop drama for Nicola and Brooklyn, who blew the top off their family feud earlier this month. With the internet taking sides after his shocking statement, it's been chaos, finger-pointing, and in some cases, laughter.
After his statements about the way Victoria danced with him, the internet had a field day. As people begged to see footage from the wedding, AI videos and photos popped up on social media showing ridiculous situations like the former Spice Girl break dancing on Nicola's dress. Her song "Not Such an Innocent Girl" even went viral, and hit number 1 for the first time in 23 years.
As for whether the world will ever see the wedding video, E! has reported that while the couple has access to the video, they are not releasing it.
British-American journalist Rob Shuter also claimed on his Naughty But Nice Substack that they were offered millions but refused to sell it.
