Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith stepped out in Paris for their son Jaden's latest milestone, and they looked amazing. While the family has made their share of questionable headlines, there's never been a doubt that they come together when it really matters.
The couple attended the Louboutin Capsule Collection by Jaden Smith launch on January 21, during Paris Fashion Week. Will kept things classic with a long black coat layered over a dark crewneck and textured trousers.
Jada, meanwhile, delivered her signature edge with ease. Dressed head-to-toe in black, she paired sleek leather pants with a dramatic fur coat, sharp red bottom heels, and dark sunglasses. She accessorised with layers of silver necklaces and hoops.
Together, they looked stylish, happy, proud, and supportive of Jaden's new venture. Given the family’s long, very public history, Will and Jada side by side always feel significant.
A launch rooted in history, craft, and lineage
Jaden’s collaboration with Christian Louboutin wasn’t presented as a typical capsule drop. Instead, it unfolded as an immersive exhibition that blended fashion, visual art, music, and history.
The brand shared a gallery from after the exhibition, quoting Jaden's vision for the collection, saying, "This collection is inspired by the history of working men throughout the centuries, The Stone Masons, The Scribes, The Doctors. It’s Inspired By The Lost Epochs Of Time & Made By Hands Born From Stars Forged Under Immense Pressure Deep In Cosmic Space.”
Even the visuals leaned into family and memory. New styles were introduced through imagery echoing old family photographs, created using early photographic techniques inspired by 19th-century processes.
It wasn’t just about shoes. It was about time, inheritance, and who gets to carry stories forward. Which made Will and Jada’s presence feel like part of the narrative itself.
Jaden shared an example of one of the photos with his sister Willow Smith. "Forged Under Immense Pressure, Deep In Cosmic Space," he wrote in the caption.
Jaden's new journey
Jaden’s appointment as Creative Director cemented his role at Louboutin well beyond a one-off collaboration. He’ll oversee four collections annually, shaping what the house described as “a distinctive visual and emotional universe that extends beyond product design.”
For Jaden, the partnership feels personal. “Merging my vision with Christian’s comes quite naturally because we see the world in a very similar way. There’s a shared respect for creative freedom, and I think that’s why it works," he said when the news broke. “It isn’t just a title — it’s a creative home.”
He shared a look at his "portable office" on Wednesday.
