Following his divorce, Joe Jonas is easing back into dating with model Tatiana Gabriela. The new couple has kept things largely under the radar since they were first spotted together last summer. The romance between the 36-year-old singer and the 28-year-old Puerto Rican model is said to have started last summer after the pair was seen grabbing coffee in Los Angeles.
Since then, the relationship has quietly progressed. A source revealed to People, “They started off with casual coffee dates, but things have definitely become more serious. They’ve been spending time together in multiple cities, including New York and Miami.”
It makes sense that Jonas would ease back into dating, since so much has changed in his life over the past year. After filing for divorce from Sophie Turner, in September 2023, and with whom he shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, Jonas has reportedly taken a cautious, more laid-back approach to dating.
The source commented, “This relationship feels different. He’s having fun, getting along well with her, and most importantly, he trusts her around his kids. They want to take it slow.”
Jonas and the Game of Thrones actress ended their four-year marriage after seven years together. The former couple became engaged in October 2017 and married in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony on May 1, 2019. At the time of their split, Jonas and Turner released a joint statement saying they had “mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” while noting that “there are many speculative narratives as to why, but, truly, this is a united decision".
Despite initially presenting a united front, Turner later filed a petition seeking the return of their children to England, where she is from. Days later, the former couple reached an agreement to keep the children in New York while they finalized their divorce.
Jonas previously opened up about his hesitation to return to dating in a May 2025 TalkShopLive stream while discussing his song Only Love, which was inspired by a comment from someone he was dating at the time. He said, “I was seeing somebody at the time, and I was kind of having this idea of dating again. It was really scary and intimidating. Love takes different shapes and forms, and I was re-discovering what that was.”
Joe added that the woman had playfully dismissed his anxiety. He said, “Well, it’s only love. I was like, ‘Well, when you put it that way…’ So we wrote a song about it. Like, it was not a big deal, but it was a big deal to me, and a big deal to them, too. But it’s okay to take a leap of faith and just try again and put yourself out there.”
