Christie Brinkley is proving that age is just a number. The groundbreaking model, 71, shared some photos of her vacations in the Turks and Caicos islands, looking stunning and youthful in a black bikini.
In photos shared on her Instagram, Brinkley shared a photo of a mirror she and her family have been building over the years at their home in the Turks and Caicos.
As she shows off her work, Brinkley wears a black bikini top and matching shorts, showing her fit and youthful figure. "I shell attempt to distract you from the important news you sea on Insta then I’ll clam up and you can scallop back to the more pressing issues of the day," she captioned the post, having some fun with her puns.
"PS I made this over the 20 + years we’ve been here in Turks&Caicos from things I find on the beach."
The mirror is large and appears to be placed in front of her dining room table, showing a wide room filled with light, white ceilings, a dining table with numerous spots, and some decorations.
The edges of the mirror are filled with stunning shells of different shapes and sizes, all having a similar hue and tone, making her mirror into one of the most distinct and eye-catching pieces in her home.
The post attracted thousands of likes and comments from her loved ones, including her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook. "Hot bod alert," she wrote.
Christie and her look-alike daughter
Christie Brinkley and her daughter Sailor have become one of our favorite mother-daughter duos of the past couple of months.
Aside from their striking similarities, with both having bright blue eyes and long and wavy blonde hair, they often attend events together, wear matching outfits, and more.
Like her mother, Sailor is a model. She's discussed what her mother has taught her on various topics and how much of an inspiration she's been in her life. "Her biggest advice when it comes to being on a set would be just to be as gracious as you can. I always try to introduce myself to everyone in the room. And I always try and acknowledge everyone in the room," she said to PEOPLE.
"Because I mean, my job is almost pretty much the easiest."
"That's what she taught me, is to really acknowledge my surroundings while I'm in it and not be a diva and have fun with the creatives that I'm working with."
