Former Barcelona star Gerard Piqué served as a guest professor at Harvard Business School in November 2025, teaching students about the Kings League. The 38-year-old athlete and businessman visited the Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, to break down the social-media-first, seven-a-side format he launched in November 2022.
He also marked the moment on Instagram, sharing a photo from the classroom and a shot posing in front of the Harvard Business School sign.

The session led by Gerard, who sat in the same classroom eight years prior when Anita taught him as part of his four-day executive version of the course, covered a social-media-first narrative, a disruptive competition format, and a deep, direct connection with its community.

As of today, the league has expanded to men’s and women’s divisions in Spain and Mexico, and men’s leagues in Brazil, France, Italy, Germany, the Middle East, and North Africa, with the United States set to join soon.
