Kris Jenner is serving serious skin goals. The 70-year-old Kardashian matriarch shared a rare makeup-free selfie this week, showing off a taut, radiant complexion that has fans buzzing online.
Jenner’s selfie, posted to her Instagram stories, revealed the results of a recent facial with celebrity esthetician Keren Bartov, whose client list includes Julia Roberts, Kristen Bell, and Cindy Crawford.
In the sunlit image, Jenner’s cheeks were flushed, her skin dewy and poreless, and her dark hair pulled back to highlight her line-free face. “Thank you @keren_bartov, greatest facial!!” she captioned the photo.
Bartov herself reposted the photo on Instagram with the caption, “Timeless beauty, precision care.” That evening, Jenner’s daughter Khloé Kardashian shared her own pictures from the session, writing, “The best facial!!! Thank you @keren_bartov,” and also featured a selection of Bartov’s Advanced Skincare Line products, including the Booster Peel & Glow Serum, Ultra Peptide Serum, and Advanced Skin Serum.
Bartov shared these posts too, noting, “An evening of treatments with @khloekardashian and @krisjenner. True beauty is built on consistency, care, and skin health. An incredible and beautiful family. Love each and every one of you.”
While facials and top-tier skincare contribute to the glow, Jenner’s youthful look is also the result of ongoing cosmetic enhancements. In August, she revealed to Vogue Arabia that she had undergone her second facelift, performed over a decade after her first.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh. I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy,” she said. Jenner’s decision to embrace cosmetic procedures extends to her daughter Khloé as well, who has been open about her own Botox and filler treatments.
Jenner has always been candid about her approach to aging and beauty. “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully—meaning you don’t want to do anything—then don’t do anything,” she told Vogue Arabia.
“But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.” She further emphasized the importance of skin care in a 2021 WSJ Magazine interview, “I’m obsessed with my skin and have always taken really good care of it. I had my first facial when I was a very young girl and just never stopped, really. It was always a priority. I just think it’s really important for older women to realize that if they just take care of their skin, it’s not complicated.”
The matriarch has also shown her sense of humor while discussing cosmetic procedures. On a recent episode of 'The Kardashians,' she quipped while talking to daughter Kim in Paris, “Probably the only thing on my face that’s real is my nose.”
Kim was quick to defend herself, “Never had a veneer, baby,” she said, highlighting the Kardashian family’s playful approach to the subject. Jenner’s recent facelift reportedly cost around $100,000 and was performed by New York City-based celebrity surgeon Dr. Steven M. Levine ahead of her milestone 70th birthday in November.
She attended high-profile events following the procedure, including Lauren Sánchez-Bezos’ star-studded bachelorette party in Paris, where fans immediately noticed her subtly refreshed look. “Of course, my daughter Kylie went with me, while Kim was present at all times on FaceTime,” Jenner explained, underscoring the family support that accompanies her beauty routines.
Kris’s post-surgery glow has been visible on the red carpet as well. She recently joined daughter Kendall Jenner at the 20th Anniversary of L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth in Los Angeles, dazzling in a floor-length red Valentino gown with a black bow and opera gloves, a nod to a look she wore on a date with then-husband Robert Kardashian in the 1980s.
Jenner’s openness about cosmetic enhancements goes beyond headlines. “It really is somehow my way of showing people and trying to inspire others not to be afraid of surgeries that you need that are necessary or even something you wanna do because you wanna feel better about yourself,” she said.
Over the decades, she has undergone a range of procedures, from Botox and breast augmentations in the 1980s to a notable earlobe reduction in 2018, and even candidly documented a “very scary” hip replacement in 2022 for 'The Kardashians.'
