Lana Del Rey surprised fans by stepping out in a rare display of affection with her husband during a high-profile Hollywood soirée on Saturday night.

The singer was seen clinging to spouse Jeremy Dufrene, whom she has been married to for nearly two years, at W Magazine’s Annual Best Performances Party held at the iconic Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood — a glamorous lead-up to the Golden Globe Awards.

Del Rey looked radiant as she cozied up to Dufrene, who opted for a sharp black three-piece suit worn without a tie. The auburn-haired star channeled classic cinema glamour in a figure-skimming ruby satin gown that highlighted her curves.

The loved-up moment comes months after the Grammy nominee opened up to W Magazine about how she fell for her now-husband, a Louisiana swamp tour guide whose daily life revolves around alligators.

The pair first met in 2019 when Del Rey booked one of his bayou tours. They later reconnected and married last year.

Recalling their first meeting, she said, 'Like many people who work with large, dangerous beasts, Jeremy has a calm, strong presence,' adding, 'When we met, I realized pretty immediately that I loved him, but that it might get difficult because of what I was bringing to the table.'

Even so, she remembered him reassuring her, 'I work with alligators—I have tough skin.' She added, 'And he is a man of his word. All the things that made me upset—and there were so many!—he would just listen and say, "You be you—and I'll just love you more."'

After their 2024 wedding, Del Rey admitted the media attention became overwhelming, with drones hovering above their home to capture images of their ceremony and early days of married life.

She laughed, 'If I was him, I would have been nervous—my emotions were more overwhelming than usual, and my usual emotions can be quite overwhelming!' before adding, 'But Jeremy was fine. He told me, "Don’t worry about me."'

Asked whether she’s penned any songs inspired by her husband, Del Rey revealed fans have already heard one slated for her forthcoming album, Stove.

'Stars Fell on Alabama. I open my show with that song—that's it, so far,' she said. 'Jeremy is the most impactful person in my life. He's quiet in public, but around me he talks all the time.'

She also shared a sweetly unconventional habit the couple has adopted.

'It's strange: Jeremy and I have what we call "parking-lot time." We spend so much time in parking lots, just reading or talking in the car. Sometimes, in life, you think you're the only one in the world who loves a particular thing, like sitting in an empty Macy's or Home Depot parking lot. You might be really weird to some people, but then you find another soul who feels the same way,' she gushed.

Despite her massive success, Del Rey made it clear she has no plans to write a memoir.

'Absolutely not,' she said. 'There have been too many personal things that I can't talk about. Sometimes I think it's a 50-50 split between people hating me and people respecting my work. I've spent a lot of time thinking about that, but, to be honest, thinking too much about that is a lose-lose situation. Now I try to be positive: I had a dream of a giant family and a happy life. I had to quiet the noise to find love. And I did.'

And while life with a swamp guide took some getting used to, she’s since embraced his unusual profession.

'I was nervous at first, but Louisiana has nicer alligators than Florida,' she joked. 'Jeremy swims with the alligators! I swim in the bayou also, and the alligators are there, but I don't swim alone.'
