Hailey Bieber has a special partnership for Valentine's Day. The model and businesswoman is Victoria's Secret's official Valentine's Day muse, sharing videos and photos of her partnership with the brand as she models in stunning lingerie. In a video shared by the brand, Bieber is seen recreating one of Gisele Bündchen's most iconic photos from her time as one of the brand's most emblematic angels.
The video was shared by Victoria's Secret earlier this week, showing Bieber wearing a matching lingerie set of pink and black polka dot patterns. Bieber is seen with her hair styled in a messy ponytail. The clip shows Bieber inside a dresser drawer, with her legs stretched in front of her as she painted her toenails. Her engagement ring makes a prominent appearance as she holds on to the bottle of nail polish.
Her accessories are kept to a minimum, with her only wearing her engagement ring and dangling pearl earrings. At the end of the clip, Bieber turns to the camera, sending a smile. "Because Valentine’s Day commands main-character energy," reads the post's caption.
While Bieber has yet to walk the Victoria's Secret runway, she has a long partnership with Victoria's Secret, participating in many of their campaigns.
Victoria's Secret fans were quick to highlight the callback to Gisele's famous photograph, with her seen inside a similar dresser, painting her toenails, with her hair styled in a ponytail, and wearing a matching set of pink underwear.
The original photos were a part of Victoria's Secret's "Think Pink" campaign. The photo was shared by an Instagram account called 90sanxiety, which received attention from Victoria's Secret, who dropped two emojis in the comments: some eyes, and an envelope with a heart.
Gisele Bündchen, one of Victoria's Secret's most iconic angels
Bündchen has a long partnership with Victoria's Secret, serving as an Angel from 1999 until 2006. Last year, the Brazilian icon reflected on her history as an Angel and her decision not to participate in last year's Victoria's Secret Runway Show. "I love working with them. When I started I was 19. When I got to 27, I kind of felt like there were other things I wanted to do. It was 80 percent of my income when I decided to not re-sign with them," she said in an interview with Refinery29.
"They were always very respectful. They knew that I didn’t really enjoy being in G-strings on the runway, so they always gave me a cape. I could have continued, maybe three or five more years there, but I felt like I had done that chapter. When you say no to something, you say yes to something else," she concluded.
