Cristiano Ronaldo, the globally celebrated soccer icon, is renowned not only for his extraordinary talent on the field but also for his devotion as a father of five.
Beyond trophies and records, Ronaldo’s greatest pride lies in his family, which he shares with partner Georgina Rodríguez, with whom he plans to marry this year.
A recent social media post from Georgina offered fans a glimpse into their tender family life, a heartwarming video of Ronaldo taking on the role of hairdresser for one of their daughters.
In the clip, the athlete carefully fashions two little buns, with his daughter looking happy to be sharing a wholesome moment. Georgina captioned the video simply, “Enjoying time with dad,” and the adorable scene quickly captivated their followers.
Ronaldo’s dedication to his children extends beyond everyday moments of care. In a candid interview with his former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand in September 2024, the footballer opened up about parenting.
“I was at the Red Sea recently playing padel. Cristiano Jr and I got mad at each other, we weren't speaking for two days. That's why I'm happy. Even little Matteo is competitive, I like that. It shows that they have personality,” he shared.
He also spoke about the ways his children mirror his own traits. “Really, my kids are like me. I don't teach them but they see my example, because when I lose or when I get mad, sometimes I cry. It depends on the moment. They're kind of the same, so even with my kids I'm competing, I always want to win. I never give anything for free.”
Ronaldo is careful not to impose pressure on his eldest son. “Right now, Cristiano wants to be a soccer player, but I don't put pressure on him. He's 14 years old. He already has pressure on himself for being Cristiano's son,” he explained.
“I want him to make his own mistakes but I do hope that in the future he can be a professional soccer player. If he's not a player, I'll always support him. We can't pressure our kids because we're famous. This generation… it's difficult to tell them something and for them to do it," he added. "My kids will always see their father as an example, they see me every day doing what I do, at home, or at training or in a match. They see me work a lot.”
Cristiano’s partner Georgina is also carving her own public narrative, balancing glamour, motherhood, and spiritual devotion. In October 2025, she visited the Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Fátima in Portugal, sharing a poignant moment of faith with her youngest daughter, Bella Esmeralda.
Georgina entered the service with Bella perched happily on her shoulders, the little girl giggling over the sea of worshippers. Inside the chapel, Georgina knelt, prayed, and participated in Mass, while Bella absorbed the serene beauty of the stained-glass light.
At one point, Georgina gifted her daughter a book about Fátima, passing along both faith and tradition. Fátima holds profound significance in Catholicism, as the site where the Virgin Mary reportedly appeared to three shepherd children in 1917.
For Georgina, these pilgrimages are also deeply personal. She has spoken openly about the loss of one of her twin children and how faith provides emotional grounding. “I am very religious; I have always felt God’s protection. God has always been an inspiration and source of strength to fight and to know what is best for me,” she shared.
Her devotion is evident not only in quiet moments of prayer but also in her public life. She has been photographed lighting candles, carrying rosaries, and discussing her spiritual upbringing on her Netflix series 'I Am Georgina.'
