Ana de Armas is opting for a classic piece of clothing. The Cuban actress was spotted leaving the gym in a recent outing, wearing a chic outfit that shows de Armas doesn't need a lot to make the best of her look.
De Armas was photographed earlier this week, wearing a stylish outfit that revolved around her classic cowboy jeans. The pants fit her perfectly, having a loose fit at the bottom and a tight fit at the waist. De Armas completed the look with elegant black boots that she matched with a tight black long-sleeve top.
She completed the look with black sunglasses and was seen carrying a Louis Vuitton large duffle bag, called the Keepall Bandoulière 45, priced at $2,570. It was likely here that she was storing her workout clothes.
De Armas was also carrying a black leather jacket, which she held over one arm, and was photographed climbing aboard her car and driving away.
De Armas' rising career in the US
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ana de Armas talked about her friendship with Keanu Reeves, providing a perfect encapsulation of her trajectory in Hollywood and the US as a whole.
“When I first moved to L.A., we did 'Knock Knock' together, and at that time I barely spoke English,” she said. “It was kind of a frustrating journey not being able to fully communicate, but we still had a great time. We bonded really well, and we have a beautiful friendship.”
The two collaborated again on her most recent film, "Ballerina," which is a part of the "John Wick" franchise, a series of films that's been led by Reeves. “It felt full circle. Keanu and Chad [Stahelski] have built such a beautiful world with those films, and having him there, supporting me ten years later, meant a lot.”
De Armas' career kicked off in Spain, with her starring in various TV shows and films. In 2015, De Armas made her first Hollywood film, "Knock Knock," kickstarting the road she's on now, which has led to her working with some of the leading filmmakers in the country and earning an Academy Award nomination. In recent years, De Armas has demonstrated her interest in action films.
“I never thought of myself as athletic or imagined I’d do action movies,” she said, describing the process as "challenging" and "demanding" but also "exciting."
