Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth rang in the new year with their friends and family. The couple welcomed 2026 in Sydney, Australia, sharing some photos of the special moment, all accompanied by stunning fireworks and quality time with their family.
Pataky shared some photos on her Instagram, including some snaps of herself and Hemsworth as they posed for the cameras.
For the occasion, Pataky wore a gorgeous green dress with cuts on the sides of her stomach, showing off her toned muscles. She styled her hair loose and wavy, pairing it all with some jewelry and light makeup. In the case of Hemsworth, he wore a white t-shirt that he matched with a black button-up shirt and matching pants. He completed the look with sunglasses and some jewelry, including a long necklace.
Pataky shared photos alongside her friends and family, showing just how close the two are with their families. The two were joined by Pataky's brother, his wife, and their kids, alongside Hemsworth's family, including his brother Liam and his fiancée Gabriella Brooks.
Liam smiled for the camera and held up Brooks' cover of the magazine Harper's Bazaar, with her smiling next to him.
Elsa and Chris's 15th anniversary
Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth celebrated their 15th anniversary earlier in December. For the occasion, Pataky shared a video recapping her holiday season, showing her alongside Hemsworth and their family as they enjoyed themselves on a beachy location.
Throughout the clip, Hemsworth and Pataky were seen having a great time, holding each other and laughing, with them enjoying the sunset. A clip also showed Pataky tackling Hemsworth to the ground and plying him with kisses. "Happy holidays!!" she captioned the post, adding a heart eyes and a Santa Claus emoji.
The couple married 15 years ago, in 2010, after being set up by Hemsworth's agent. Over the years, the two have opened up about their dynamic and the hard work that it takes to keep a long-term relationship going.
"There was no light bulb moment," said Hemsworth in an interview with Elle. "From the first time we met, we just made sense. She's fun. She's outgoing, and she has a sense of humor and a passionate attitude toward life, which is nice to try and keep up with."
The pair have since welcomed three kids: India, Tristan, and Sasha, sharing frequent updates from their life in Australia through their social media.
