Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham have been making headlines all year with their reported feud with his family. While fans are hoping to see a family reconciliation, the couple seems to be making it very clear that all they need is each other.
With every one of their posts filled with comments about the feud, on Monday, Nicola shared a loved-up photo of them cuddling on the couch in matching grey outfits. "We didn’t plan our outfit," she wrote in the caption with a pink heart with an arrow emoji. Her husband was in the comments, writing, "You’re my sweetie pie x."
Fans once again took to the comments, "If you really want to see Brooklyn happy, you should get the Family together," someone wrote. Others encouraged her to "stay strong," saying they were doing the right thing.
Brooklyn and Nicola miss Holly Ramsay's wedding
The post comes after Brooklyn was a no-show at Gordan Ramsey's daughter, Holly Ramsay's, wedding to Adam Peaty in the UK. His parents, Victoria and David, and siblings, Harper, Cruz, and Romeo, were all in attendance. As noted by DailyMail, it's believed that despite the family feud, the Ramsays have an 'open door' policy with Brooklyn.
Brooklyn used to be very close with the family, especially with Holly's older brother Jack, who is now in the Marines. They were friends since they were toddlers, and according to DailyMail, friends of both families said they began to drift apart when he started dating Nicola.
Has Nicola's social media been filled with hidden messages?
The couple was instead in Los Angeles. As headlines began to make their rounds about the family's attendance, Nicola shared a selfie with the caption, "love being home," which again prompted speculation that she was making a quiet dig towards the situation.
Then, following the passing of Brigitte Bardot, Nicola shared one of the actress's quotes, "If I could do anything about the way people behave towards each other, I would, but since I can't, I'll stick to the animals."
Only Nicola knows if her posts have any sort of hidden meaning.
How they celebrated their Christmas
While the rest of the Beckham family has been celebrating the holidays together, Nicola and Brooklyn rang in Christmas with her side of the family. They shared a joint post on Instagram wearing matching red pajamas. In the mix were photos of them posing happily with her parents, Nelson Peltz and Claudia Heffner Peltz.
"We wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness," she captioned the post. The comments were once again, filled with things like, "Brooklyn you can get lots of wife’s but only one mum… you have to member that. Heal each other with love, kindness, care & support," and "Why don’t you show love to the Beckham family?!"
The block heard around the world
Just days before Christmas, Brooklyn blocked most of his family on Instagram. After a report claimed David and Victoria unfollowed Brooklyn on social media, Cruz shut it down on Instagram. “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son,” the singer wrote on his story. “Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I."
He reportedly hit the block button after Victoria “liked” one of his posts about roasting a chicken, which prompted comments about the riff.
