Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s teenage twins are officially hitting growth-spurt territory — and at 14, they’re now nearly as tall as their superstar mom.
The proud mother posted a picture with her twins this week to celebrate Christmas, which featured both teenagers wearing matching sweaters with their famous mom on them.
Not only were Moroccan “Roc” and Monroe “Roe” showing off their Christmas sweaters, they were also giving fans a moment to realize just how tall they've gotten, nearly towering over Mariah! This comes just a few months after the twins appeared to be almost as tall as their dad, Nick Cannon.
Cannon, who shares the 14-year-olds with Carey, posted a photo to Instagram a couple months ago showing the trio during a visit to Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, with the kids practically looming over him. The picture captured the group posing alongside some of the park’s spooky costumed characters, with the 45-year-old standing between his son and daughter, arms wrapped around them and smiling.
Roc threw up a peace sign while Roe struck a playful pout, both serving confident poses for the camera.
For the outing, Cannon kept things laid-back in a black hoodie, coordinating sweatpants, a New York Yankees cap and sneakers, while the teens wore blue jeans, black tops and tan shoes.
“Last night was a Thriller @knottsscaryfarm The whole gang pulled up! @roecannon @moroccan.cannon these two love scaring the out of themselves! #scaryfarm,” he wrote alongside the post.
The family fun comes shortly after Carey sidestepped a question about how she manages co-parenting with Cannon, whose personal life often plays out in the public eye.
“I’m curious about you and your two children and how you navigate — ’cause you’re a co-parent with Nick Cannon — how you navigate co-parenting when his life is so public,” “CBS Mornings” host Gayle King asked the singer during an interview last month.
“Hmmm,” Carey, 56, responded. “I kinda feel like it’s best if I don’t talk about him because he can just be in his own world.”
She quickly clarified, “No offense to him.”
Her carefully worded response sparked immediate chatter online, with commenters posting reactions such as, “We all embarrassed by our baby daddy chile ,” and “She doesn’t want this serial baby daddy tied to her brand.”
Since finalizing their divorce in November 2016, Cannon has welcomed 10 more children with five different women.
He recently reflected on that period, describing it as a “trauma response” and labeling his choices “careless” and “frivolous.”
“If I would have did the work, the healing, after getting divorced, I probably would have took my time in a lot other scenarios,” he said last month on “The Breakfast Club.”
“For whatever reason, I thought that was the answer a lot of times. Like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna figure it out over here.’ Now, you’re leaving trauma every step of the way instead of fixing it from its origin.”
