Kai Trump is giving followers an inside look at the White House, and a moment of change inside one of America’s most iconic buildings.
The 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump posted a video to her YouTube channel documenting her visit ahead of Christmas, offering a rare, informal glimpse at renovations underway inside the presidential residence, along with moments from her own day-to-day life.
The vlog captures Kai speaking directly to the camera as she moves through her daily routine. She films herself driving, running errands, and visiting the dentist, along with more casual moments like going through a car wash.
The video also includes footage of Kai with her family, including scenes inside a private jet en route to Washington, D.C., offering a broader, unfiltered look at her life beyond the presidential residence.
In the vlog, Kai walks through the White House alongside her grandfather, capturing footage from areas affected by recent construction. The East Wing was reportedly demolished in October to make way for a 90,000-square-foot ballroom, a project estimated to cost around $200 million.
At one point, President Trump stops to point out a statue of Abraham Lincoln that was removed during the demolition. “I got this from the East Wing. This came out of the East Wing, the famous East Wing. This looks good, doesn’t it, here? The same man that did Mount Rushmore,” he says.
The video also highlights holiday décor throughout the residence. Christmas trees line the Cross Hall, decorated with ornaments and lights, offering a contrast between festive tradition and ongoing construction inside the historic building.
A more personal look at Kai:
Away from the White House tour, Kai includes clips from her workout routine, giving fans an unfiltered look at her training and daily discipline as she prepares for collegiate athletics.
An accomplished junior golfer, Kai is set to join the University of Miami’s golf team in 2026 after graduating high school. She is currently ranked No. 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Already a recognizable presence in the golf world, Kai has amassed more than six million followers across her platforms and has secured multiple high-profile partnerships. She recently signed an NIL deal with Accelerator Active Energy, joined the TaylorMade roster earlier this year, and is represented by GSE Worldwide, the agency behind top professionals including Bryson DeChambeau and Lexi Thompson.
Beyond her social media presence, Kai is continuing to build a profile that extends well beyond her family name. Earlier this fall, she launched her own fashion brand, debuting the collection at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York, where she appeared alongside her grandfather.
